Hey everyone,
After 6 and a half years, Alamo Sentry.com has come to an end. Yesterday, the website went off line as I had forgotten to pay the yearly sum for the domain name. While it happened unintentionally, it came at a time of great transition for me as I am now making a living in San Antonio, Texas and do not have a running computer nor internet service, currently.
While Alamo Sentry is gone, the content isn't. I'd be happy to post content here such as the interviews I conducted, if you all would like me to.
Otherwise, I am simply burnt out on running a website on the popular culture of the Alamo, especially since so much of the content is recycled on other forums. I believe I have given it my all during the life of the website and hope it has brought joy and interest to many. I am pursuing bigger and better projects, including a new Alamo website.
My sincere thanks to everyone who had a hand in helping me with Alamo Sentry. Whether it was with moderating, posting, reading or contributing content. You all made Alamo Sentry a success and bought us some very wonderful memories.
Thank you,
All the best, Wade

I'm sorry to hear that, Wade. Alamo Sentry had some interesting interviews, articles, and discussions over the years. Hope you can find a way to preserve some of it for public viewing. Good luck, and keep in touch!

Thats my plan exactly, Tom. I was going to write a book that contained the interviews, but I believe we know all there is to know about the 2004 film. Though, I'll either place the interviews here or elsewhere. Y'all let me know!

Wade, thanks for the offer. Tom will be in touch. I'm out of the country this week with limited net access. Jim

I visited the site a number of times and always found it to be interesting and informative. Since I didn't read it all on my previous visits to the site, I certainly hope all that good information is kept available somewhere for future reference. Best wishes, and I look forward to learning more from any future posts you may make on this forum,

Loved the interviews, and it was a fun place to stop in to from time to time. I hope you will get the material posted here.

Thanks for the support, gentlemen. I will post selected interviews and content here and then decide as to what to do with the rest.

Wade, I just look at it as if you are just changing form or.... or.... Alamorphing. Do preserve the interviews at all cost. They were wonderfully achieved and presented.
Perhaps, to look at it another way, in Florida, you were a cyber-Alamologist. In Texas, you have the opportunity to be the real thing.

Sure enjoyed my time there at Alamo Sentry as well as the original that had us all anticipating the Alamo film. Looks like there are some good threads going on here. Maybe we can continue to get our Alamo fix this way. Best wishes to you, Wade.
