Billy Hatton bassist with the merseybeat group The Fourmost told me of the time he covered for Brian Jones [or;Jonesy'as he knew him]who was having an illicit fling with the recently deceased Lesley Duncan.Th e Stones and The Fourmost had played the London Palladium together and Lesley Duncan who had been on the bill as a backing singer is backstage and is all over Billy.Off they go together in front of everyone to Billys London flat. After half an hour there is a knock on the door and it is the Cheltenham satyr himself, grinning from ear to ear.Enter Jonesy, exit Billy. [for Billys Lennon anecdote please see'beatles set;]

Sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll ... Yes, indeed! Those were the good old days... ;D Only if you lived to tell about it. I recall an old Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show song called "I was stoned and I missed it". I don't think it had to do with remembering the '60s, but it sure could have. lol Paul

Dr. Hook was once filmed in a house boat (could be Shell Silverstein´s house boat) doing some of their songs - in the nude! I taped it from TV and it´s still funny to watch the tape. It probably was very provocative back then for the ordinary viewer. ;D
