Hey gang,
This book is currently on my wish list. Has anyone read it, yet? Upon my trip to Bejar, I saw the book being sold at the Alamo Gift Shop. If you have read it, what are your thoughts?
Thanks!
All the best, Wade

I have it in my "to read" stack. It's a beautiful book, handsomely designed, lavishly illustrated, and packed with information. Author Jim Bevill just won the Summerfield-Roberts award. Full disclosure: I'm acquainted with the author, and Bright Sky Press, publishers of "David Crockett in Congress," published "The Paper Republic" as well.

Same disclosure as Jim, but I read the book on assignment for "Wild West History Association Journal" and my review will appear in a future issue.

Thanks, gentlemen!
And thank you, RangerRod. I did a search for any threads on the topic using the search feature, but couldn't find anything.
