I just learned from David Webb, that John Hinnant lost his wife, Sharon, yesterday.
I know many members know John, and have enjoyed his company in SA, and thought I would share this sad news with you all.
John is a gentleman, in the truest sense of the word, and I'm sure that all you that know him will join me in wishing him comfort and peace in this time of grief.

That is very sad news, Herb. I'm very sorry to hear it and, if you can, please pass on my condolences to John (I have no contact info for him). I've seen John many times in San Antonio, but this past March HHD was the first chance I had to spend some time chatting with him. He's everything Herb says he is and I was happy to have gotten to know him a bit.

d**n, I'm sorry to hear this news. I partook lunch with Mr. Hinnant, Glenn and the Foremans after the last Alamo Symposium. I agree John is truly a genial person and I wish him better days.
