Yesterday, Bruce notified me that his mother passed away Tuesday night. I'm sure others on the forum will join me in sending our deepest sympathies to him and his family in their time of loss.

Same here, Bruce. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I went through this a couple of years ago so I know how you must feel.

Bruce, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I went through this about ten years ago losing both parents within two years. Even though the pain has lessoned I still miss them. Gregg

Bruce, I can really relate to what you must be feeling. I lost my dad two years ago, and miss him every day. Unfortunately, no one can tell you anything that will really help...only time can do that. But just know that there are alot of us out there who've felt how you feel, and whose prayers and thoughts are with you. Mark

I want to thank you all for your support and kind words of encouragement. My mother had a number of health issues that seemed to be compounded as time progressed. I can’t say I was expecting it, but in a way it came as no surprise.
Mom was a fantastic woman and I am blessed to have had the opportunity to know her. A quote by Winston Churchill sums up her outlook on death: “I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.”
…or as Henry Ward Beecher said, “Now comes the mystery.”
