Hello to all. I'm the author of Slaughter at Goliad--The Mexican Massacre of 400 Texas Volunteers published by Naval Institute Press. For the longest time I waited for them to "Kindle-ize" it. Turns out that the e-book rights belonged to me. At any rate, it's now available as a Kindle book. I think it turned out pretty well, but if you happen to buy it and note any missteps (factual or composition-wise) please don't hesitate to advise me. That's one huge advantage of the e-book medium: Mistakes are easily corrected.
Although I'm not a Texan, my time spent in the state was a great experience that I wouldn't trade. Too, as an outsider looking in, I'm pretty sure that no other state has so many citizens so aware of their own history. It's fascinating.
Regards, Jay Stout

Awesome news! I worked at the Alamo for a time a read your novel as it was in our employee library. It was a great read - the Kindle purchase will be next buy when payday hits, if I don't get too excited and buy the physical copy. Big fan of your work so far, sir!
