Scheduled Program begins at 9:30 a.m. (subject to change):
• Introduction and greeting by William Chemerka, Editor: The Alamo Journal • Alamo Society 2014 Symposium button distribution • “Alamo Steel,” a talk and display of Bowie knives by Louisiana’s Chris Nolen who will describe the knives used at the Alamo and those subsequently used and featured in various films. • “The West Wall Rediscovered,” a presentation by Texas’ Rick Range and California’s Craig Covner about the appearance of the Alamo’s west wall during the famous 13-day siege and battle. • “Faces of the Texas Revolution” by Texas’ Amanda Danning who will display and discuss her unique hand-sculpted forensic facial reconstructions. • Alamo authors’ book signing. • Alamo art work display and sale by artist Wade Dillon • Silent auction of Alamo and Alamo defender collectibles. • And more!
