The April 2014 (#171) Alamo Journal has been mailed to all Alamo Society members worldwide, according to the new editor: Texas' Bill Groneman. The issue features: “Ramping Up The Scrutiny: The Most Probable Configuration of the Church Ramp (Part II)” by Georgia’s Mark Lemon Information about The Alamo Society 2014 Symposium, which will be held on Saturday morning, March 8, 2014 at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio, Texas The Alamo [2004] Ten Years Later “Passing the Torch,” which provides the background to the change in editors of The Alamo Journal
The all-time Alamo Society roster Centerfold collage of Alamo Journals organized by Mike Boldt Note: the Membership Profile is either: A) a coincidence compared to December's write-up; B) a salute to someone who has GTT; C) a reason why it was time to "pass the torch"

That's okay, Bill. I saw that and thought maybe I had achieved some sort of celebrity status. I promise not to set up a booth and sell autographs at the symposium. lol

Bill, quite honestly, I didn't know squat about this feller until you published that article with all the dirt on him. Now............................. P.S. -- How much are you charging for 'em, Paul? I'll see.

I'll trade with you Rich: An autograph in return for a day at the "Village". Fir 'nuf? lol
Are you going to make it to Joan's soiree on March 7? I'll be rolling into Bexar sometime early afternoon on the 6th, and will be in town for her party the night of the 7th and the symposium on the 8th. Unfortunately, I have to return to the Big-D sometime Sunday, the 9th. I plan on getting some prime time on the Stoop with some of you boys (and gals) while there.

O.K., I'm confused, Paul. How come I never saw you at HHD. Was it me not recognizing you? Did we talk and I didn't know it was you? I guess I'm having a "duh" moment.

I was there, Rich. I even took and posted some photos. I saw Wade and his dad, Bill, and some others. I also was at Joan's Alamo part that Friday.

Hey, Rich, I'll be back in the hood a couple more times before this year is out. We'll hook up then.
