Has anyone heard of this.. Was there ever a follow-up on the rooms? Just where were they? I found this interesting. Joy

I was hoping to see a response to this question, too. Well, with references to Pee Wee Herman aside. If there is something to this, I can't imagine someone wouldn't recall it or know something about it.

Hahahaha! I just answered this somewhere. Guess it wasn't here, huh? This is indeed on the Alamo's map of archaeological digs, listed as "Greer, 1966." Briefly, I think the later consensus was that they had found floors of early temporary mission structures and not roofs of "subterranean" rooms. Attachments:

I'm beginning to think that the Light just checked the Frederic Ray 1955 drawing of the Alamo and decided that, since it wasn't on there, it wasn't. lol
