Over the years I have noticed pictures (even the 1849 ?) of various doors to the Chapel. The 1849 picture looks like it had boards kinda hodge podged in place. Then I can recall in the early 20th Century, doors that had little windows located at the top of the doors. I have a picture of myself in 1967 at the Alamo with doors into the Chapel/Church that no longer have those little windows. (Where did the go?) It would be interesting to see a dated flow of pictures of the Alamo Church Doors and get some history behind these doors it there is such a thing. (Please excuse me for such an interest in Alamo details. It is a thing with me that I enjoy.) Also over time, the ground level gets higher and the doors therefore must get shorter. Thanks for whatever information you folks have to offer in advance. I do appreciate the Forum!
