In the current (March) edition of Texas Monthly, there is a little blurb about the Alamo that John Wayne built that claims it is "full scale." I thought I remembered from my trip down to Bracketville that it is actually something like 2/3 rds scale.
Is Texas Monthly right?

Rich is the expert here. It's definitely smaller scale than the original Alamo compound and, like all representations of the 1836 fort, at least partly guess-timation. Also, the set had many makeovers through the years to serve as a set for other movies, including "Alamo: Price of Freedom," and many others.
