I now have copies in hand for sale of my new Alamo book, Victory or Death Alamo Reprise. The story, set in the present (2017), is a "what if" a defender wasn't burned, was found at a dig site, and wasn't "quite" dead. It follows a badly wounded young man from 1836 in his efforts to blend into modern society with its revisionist overtones and all the advances we have made in the last 180 years. The book is available on Amazon for $16.99 plus shipping. I also sell them (just got a batch yesterday) for $16 (that includes shipping). I take checks, money orders, or (best) Paypal (if you use it, remember to check "friend" to avoid transaction charges). If you would like a copy or copies, email me at CarolinaVirginia@aol.com. www.amazon.com/Victory-Death-Edith-Elizabeth-Pollitz/dp/1986907961/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1532627101&sr=8-4&keywords=victory+or+death&dpID=51lIXx7CuNL&preST=_SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=srch

I still haven't located a copy of "Price of Freedom," which is what I want above all else in this world (seriously), but I the somewhat silly Timeless TV program where my guy gets killed off right off the bat and the woman professor writes an incredibly poor substitute for his most famous letter is now easy to buy on DVD at Amazon. That's relatively new as I'd been casing YouTube trying to find it.

Just got home from San Antonio. Y'all may already know all of this, but the guy who owned the SA IMAX sold it to AMC in 2013. There's apparently a clause in the sale contract that AMC had to agree to that they would not do a DVD. This is because the former owner felt very strongly that the film would not look nearly as good on a tv screen as it does on an IMAX huge screen. No doubt, but none of us lives in an IMAX theatre (I hope, anyway). I wrote AMC, but there hasn't been time to hear back yet.
The folks in the movie each got a copy of it (VHS then--so those are the VHS copies that are out there)--if someone could give me a contact for some folks who were in it, I'd try them.
Now that I finally got to see this thing, I loved it because my hero is the star. However, they show him as left-handed (films better that way), but I can tell you for a fact that you can't write well with a quill pen because the ink gets all over your hand as you cross the page. I did like the thought of Travis being a lefty, though! It was a bit weird that he narrated the whole thing up until he died, then someone else had to do the end, of course.
I guess by now they've figured out at the hotel who was taping the nasty notes (they kept taking them down and more went up) on the framed print of Santa Anna right next to my hotel room.

Good to know. Thank you so much! Now all I have to do is find the films.

Actually, I thought of that and do check now and then. I have only successfully uploaded something from YouTube once, and that was several years ago, so I guess I need to brush up on that. If you do hear of someone who has that old copy of Price of Freedom, I'd really appreciate knowing about it--since I know it's out there, it's simply a matter of hunting for it.

How can I get a VHS copy of this film--prefer uncut, but beggars can't be choosers--and I understand there is no DVD version of it and that the VHS copy is not the best quality. Like I said, beggars can't be choosers.

Hi! I'm new to this, but I've been reading the commentary online for quite some time. There has been mention made of the fact that the IMAX movie is still tied up so you can't get a DVD copy--seems bizarre after all these years. But I do recall someone saying that a not-great VHS copy of it is OUT THERE, somewhere. I've searched high and low on the Internet, and it's not available in the usual sense of the word. Does anyone know where I can procure a copy? I still have a VHS to DVD recorder, so I can take care of that end.
Also, on a more recent note, does anyone have the NBC Timeless Alamo episode? Centurylink PRISM (and I suspect the rest as well) block you from sending it to your recorder from their precious little DVR--fine thing that we have more technology and less freedom to get what we want. The show was entertaining but annoyed me because they chose my hero to kill off early. I collect all the shows, though, so feel I need to have it.
