Yes! All Alamo Society members read the review in issue #139 of The Alamo Journal (Dec. 2005). Check your back issue collection. The book was represented at the McFarland table at the Western Writers of America conference recently. All the best.

Not having been a member (or even aware) of The Alamo Society until the past couple of years, I wouldn't have been aware of this book, either. First I heard of it. Sounds interesting, though.

It's a very positive review and sounds like a very worthwhile book if you want to trace the film characterizations of these heroes. I found a used copy for around $9 on Amazon and ordered it. I have a soft spot in my head for McFarland, who did my first book back in 1986.
