Is anyone familiar with a novella written by Fletcher Rhoden entitled "The Trial of Davy Crockett"? According to the publisher's description, Crockett is taken alive at the Alamo and the author "presents a speculative dialogue between Crockett and Generalissimo Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, meeting in a clash of will and wit over the ideology of the Texian Revolution and American expansionism." Nearly all of the book's 86 pages are taken up with this one scene.
It is a work of historical fiction, so I am wondering - if someone has read it - if the book is an interesting read or one that will bore you to tears.
