I was going through my older DVD's and found my "F Troop" series. I know it was corny and had a whole lot of historical "problems etc. But who can forget Private Duffy's outburst about his experiences about fighting shoulder to shoulder with Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie and being outnumbers 100 to 1 (as he said) fighting Santa Anna. That show had a lot of different Writers and someone had a sense of a love for the Alamo to write an Alamo reference in several scripts.

Duffy at the Alamo was always a great injoke somehow he survied the battle 40 years before-in fact bob Steele had been 40 years before F Troop in a MOVIE about the ALAMO in 1926! HA HA HA

Private Duffy was an integral part of the Fort Courage ensemble cast. My ears always perked up when he spun his Alamo "there I wuz" stories. A classic TV show in the sergeant Bilco tradition. I cherish the episodes I have collected and share them with my grandkids. Lou from Long Island
