does anyone know of a Memorial site for Goliad? I have never hear of any memorial or observance for the fallen of Goliad.

Ya snooze, ya lose, Paul! Actually, this is what happens when you go up against a retired guy while you are still gainfully employed. I'm here all day, often with time on my hands!

The Fannin's massacre event has a special, historically-documented/based vignette night tour of the presidio on the Saturday night of the event, beginning at dusk. Guides take you to several informative And moving stations. It is really well done, with both Spanish and English languages used appropriately. I have it down for march 22-24 this year/2013. Adios!

Is this the candlelight tour thing I've heard about?

I agree with TexasMatt, the Fannin Massacre event, with its' candelit vignettes, is a must. The massacre event itself, along with the reenactment of the Battle of Coletto Creek, is one of the better Texas Revolution reenactment events.

That's one that I haven't seen. I'll have to work that into my schedule.
