Cheers guys, got more photos of Texians and Mexicans if you wish to see them anytime.
Wade, my mate makes the figures. It started just as a private project as he was mad on this period like most of us on here so he had some made for his own use now he sells them as he kept getting nagged about them! They are a mix of historical and some personalities from the 2004 movie and intends making Fess Parker and JW and Dennis Quaid as Sam Houston too at some date. Anyone wants his site let me know, shan't post it on here as not sure is allowed to advertise!
Mike, he is also working on rebuilding Bexar too same as you!

They´re beautiful! They look different than most Alamo figures, I think, and they have a high degree of details. They rank among the best I´ve seen.

Yeah the guy who makes them really knows his stuff and goes for the 'dirty Dickens'look rather than just buckskins and they are very well sculpted. The Mexican Army is in the process of being made at this moment!

Cool! Now you can really see the details, like in the photo of the guy in the torn and patched up white pants. Thanks, for posting them!

Well let me tell you why I hate this 28mm collection. While I admire the painted detail and work put into it, there is a serious flaw in the figure construction. Any first year art student knows that the average male stands 7-8 heads tall. these figures stand 5 heads tall, giving them a comic appearance. It totally negates the notion of a serious fighting man. They end up looking like cartoon characters from some Bizarro world. Conte's plastic figures are much more anatomically correct.
