According to an article in Yesterday's DALLAS MORNING NEWS, John Lee Hancock, director of 2004's THE ALAMO, is writing and will direct a movie that will tell the true story of Texas Ranger legend, Frank Hamer.
Hancock's latest effort is THE BLIND SIDE which opens in theaters this week.
The article made no mention of THE ALAMO.

Interesting. There's also another Bonnie and Clyde movie in the works. Hamer will be getting a lot of exposure!

If you're referring to this movie, www.imdb.com/title/tt1355646/, based on the casting I don't have good expectations. At least they are using a lot of the actual historical characters this time.

Perhaps Mike Madsen will make a better Frank Hamer than Denver Pyle in the new B & C movie. I don't know about that Duff chick as Bonnie Parker.
