TV versions: All I can remember of James Mitchner's "Texas" on the Alamo battle is a scene where a fictional members of the Alamo garrison-a father with a Scot bonnet and his son go to the Alamo; meet Davy Crockett; a Alamo cannon fires in daylight and then the father's body is burned with the other Alamo defenders-the son survives . And LASt night-caught a glimpse of "KIng of the Hill" Cartoon where Hank and friends try to reenact the Alamo battle {post 1836 facade} after the only "Alamo" in "New" Texas schoolbook is of a "TAco Bell"! kingofthehill.wikia.com/wiki/How_I_Learned_To_Stop_Worrying_and_Love_the_AlamoJust what do Texas Schoolbooks teach about the Alamo battle {2009}?
