Facts of the Forgotten War: *The DOD estimates that 3,067 to 3,838 of 7,860 MIAS are STILL IN NORTH KOREA *On March 21, 2012 the Obuma Admistration suspended talks with North Korea over the repration of US MIAS * In OCtober 2014 the North Koreans announced they would move the remains of 5,000 MIAS en masse
So How can you help..? Congress is the voice of the people Let your Congressman know of Obama legacy in regard to MIAS; their wives, their chidlrenm their relations and their familes. Have Congress reopen talks with North Korea to bring our sons back home..

For me this is Deja Vu all over again.
Congress does not conduct foreign policy. They have no such authority to do so, as that resides exclusively in the Executive Branch of government.
Congress does not have any right or authority to open or reopen talks with a foreign dog catcher.
Your motives are good, but you are waaaaaaaaaaaaay off base here.
Negotiations involves a quid pro quo of some sort. What do you suggest the pro quo would be?
Presidents before the current one have not negotiated either, so why should this one do so when all his predecessors going back to Eisenhower have refused to do so? That itself takes any validity away from your argument.
I failed to mention the last time we had this discussion - over the hills and far away - that the Alamo and LBH, are a hobby, a mere passtime. Korea is my area of in depth study and some degree of expertise.
