Don't know if anyone has this or has read it, but a new paperback edition has been published by Texas A&M University Press:
Juan Davis Bradburn: A Reappraisal of the Mexican Commander of Anahuac by Margaret Swett Henson.

This is an interesting book that rehabilitates the career of John Davis Bradburn and re-examines his role in the Tex Rev. The much-maligned Anahuac commander has the mantle of tyrant lifted off his reputation by the astute Margaret Swett Henson. Recommended reading.

Good summary Hiram. The late Margaret Henson was a great historian and one of those folks who was great to sit down and have a converstation with.

I recall reading her material on Emily Morgan back during a lengthy discussion of that subject. Glad to see her Bradburn book has new life.
