Just for fun. Post here your favorite dumb Alamo move quote(s). Please follow the example below. And to start us off:
"Don't go back, Jimmy. I will make you my prisoner--you will be happy, you will be free."
Santa Anna (J. Carrol Naish) to Jim Bowie (Sterling Hayden)
THE LAST COMMAND (1955)

Not only a dumb Alamo quote, but one of the worst movie quotes of all time.
Denver Pyle (Thimblerig): "You know, I was PROUD of them. Even when I was killin' them I was PROUD of them."
(groan...that is painfully bad!)

"Dozens more wanted to come with us, but I would take only well armed men. Few had rifles."
Juan Seguin (Joseph Calleia) to Jim Bowie (Richard Widmark)
THE ALAMO (1960)

I want to see the place I am to defend
Travis-2004 Alamo
But you where here in in November/December and to get here from San Felipe you would have rode right past the place!

(groan...that is painfully bad!) One of the many zingers in that film. It's worst weakness was that script.

"No matter what happens, a man and a woman has to be. Otherwise a man's only half and a woman is nothing at all." -- The Last Command -- Sterling Hayden quoting Ursula to Consuela.
National Organization of Women might have something to say about this.

"Texas independence threatened. Santa Anna vows to expel settlers." Georgie Russel reading newspaper headline on a Mississippi sternwheeler. Davy Crockett at the Alamo.
Politically correct confused timeline?

"You people [i.e., in Bexar] right here on the Rio Grande are going to have to buy me that time." -Sam Houston, Alamo (1960)
San Antonio is ~ 130 miles from the Rio Grande as the crow flies.
