Does anybody have a complete list of the volumes of the Time Life Old West Series.
I've checked Amazon and I see different numbers given, 24, 25, 26, but no by name listing of all the volumes.

I have 'em all 'cept the Frontiersmen, End of the Myth and the Index. Well, I only have seven of them ! There are about another seven volumes I'd really like to get. The writing shows its age, 1970s, but the illustrations, photos and art make them still worth owning, imo.

I hope I'm wrong, but is this the set that had brown, leather-like covers and appeared around the 1970s? I remember seeing them all over the place at the time, often at cut-rate prices on bargain tables, but never bothered to pick them up. C'est la vie!!

That's the ones. As Herb says the text is decidedly dated but they're still be best collection of illustrations around.
Speaking of which, something that's well worth grabbing if you see it as a cased three volume set entitled "Echoes of Glory", which was condensed out of the TimeLife American Civil War series. One volume has all the maps from the series, and the other two has all the photos of artefacts belonging to Union and Confederate armies respectively, culled from the main volumes.
