Coryell was among the party of men who accompanied James and Rezin Bowie at the San Saba in November of 1831.
I hope they're able to make a positive ID of the remains. If the remains turn out to be Coryell's perhaps they can be reinterred in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco or at the Texas State Cemetery.

Very interesting; nice to see the video showing actual archeologists at work. Please keep us posted on any further info, DNA test results, etc. Thanks for posting!

I don't know much about Coryell's burial, but I'm a little skeptical. I don't believe they usually buried the dead with coffins and that deep on the 1830s frontier.
